I am in San Diego to support my beautiful wife as she runs the San Diego Rock'n'Roll Marathon. The race is on Sunday and things are looking good for at least one Smith to finish. A great time with family and friends is also expected. Raise your hand if you think as a resident of Oregon I am going to San Diego to escape the heat. Didn't think anyone was going to raise a hand. Oddly enough, this is the second time in three weeks that I am heading to San Diego for temperatures 15-20 degrees less than home.
